DISCOUNTS

Exclusive discounts are available for anyone joining the Stratford Town Walk and Ghost Walk.  The discounts are for a range of attractions, cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops (see venue list below).  Discounts range from 10% to substantially more and can equate to real savings.  Stratford Town Walk customers will be given full access to each discount after booking and payment.

Butterfly Farm
A tropical Butterfly paradise. Escape Live Stratford upon Avon
Officially Stratford upon Avon’s most fun ‘Thing to Do’, Escape Live is perfect for families, friends, couples, colleagues and special occasions.  With the world’s only Shakespeare escape room, designed to be a complete replica of Shakespeare’s house this adventure is perfectly tailored for both avid fans as well as those who don’t even know his first name (it’s William, by the way).  For the witches, wizards and Harry Potter fans out there, you can take on the Chalice of Champions, a magical fantasy escape room that takes place in a world of wizardry.

MAD Museum
The MAD Museum is a wonderful and exciting collection of machines incorporating gears, chains, pulleys and whirligig paraphernalia. The exhibits fall into three areas, Kinetic Art (art in motion), Automata (interesting mechanical contraptions) and Steampunk (modern gizmos with a Victorian twist).  Superbly engaging for all ages, the museum offers an extravaganza of visual entertainment with lots of rolling balls and plenty of clanking and rattling thrown in for good measure!

Shakespeare Houses
The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is an independent charity that cares for the world’s greatest heritage sites in Stratford upon Avon, including Shakespeare’s Birthplace, New Place and Anne Hathaway’s Cottage.  Discover the fascinating stories of Shakespeare the boy, husband, family man and businessman across his family homes. Shakespeare’s Schoolroom & Guildhall 
Immerse yourself in sixteenth century Stratford upon Avon and discover the ancient schoolroom where William Shakespeare was educated and inspired to become the world’s greatest playright.  Explore the medieval Guildhall, the heart of civic life for over 400 years.

El Greco

Fourteas 1940’s Tearoom

Lily’s Waffles and Crepes
Lily’s Waffles and Crepes is a family run cafe offering sweet and savoury options to eat in or take away.  Their best sellers include Strawberry & Nutella, Cookies & Cream and the Apple Pie waffles served with fresh cream.  There are plenty of toppings to choose from.

Thespians Indian & Bangladeshi Restaurant
Popular family run restaurant (minutes from the Royal Shakespeare Theatre), specialising in Indian, Bangladeshi, Balti and Tandoori dishes.  Stimulate your senses, tantalise your taste buds and savour the sublime.  Comfortable, cosy surroundings and friendly staff.

PUBS

Dirty Duck
15th century building full of history and world famous in theatre circles.   If you are in town for a show or just passing through, don’t forget to pop in for a coffee, a drink on the terrace or a delicious meal.

Garrick Inn
One of the oldest buildings in Stratford upon Avon, the Garrick Inn is a traditional half-timbered building dating back to the 16th century with some parts of the building as old as the 14th century.  Open all day, serving real ales and great pub food – old favourites and exciting seasonal dishes using the finest, locally sourced ingredients.  British food at its best

Old Thatch Tavern

Rose & Crown

Roly’s Fudge Pantry
Visit Roly’s Fudge Pantry to see the fudge freshly made every day.  It is lovingly crafted in large copper pans, before being poured onto marble slabs and cut up ready to eat.  Flavours may vary from day to day, but include the traditional Vanilla Clotted Cream, Salted Maple and Pecan, Chocolate and Honeycomb and many more.  Vegan options are available.

Shakespeare Distillery
A delightful shop on High Street stocked with a full selection of spirits in varying bottle sizes.  Favourite purchases include premium, handcrafted gins and rums made at the distillery on the Drayton Manor Farm Estate (less than 10 mins drive from Stratford town centre).

Shipton’s Jewellers
Creators of fine jewellery.  Gemstones, birthstones, pearls and precious stones gathered from many remote locations around the world.  Shipton’s stones are known for their brilliant, vivid colours, creating a play of light that seems to go deeper than the stone.  Diamonds in beautiful, unique settings are also hand-picked for colour, clarity, carat and cut.
