Our daily Town Walk showcases Stratford upon Avon’s rich history and fascinating relationship with William Shakespeare. The walking tour passes iconic sights from Birthplace to Holy Trinity Church (burial site) passing stunning architecture along the way.  Entrance to attractions is not included during the tour, but the price of your ticket includes exclusive discounts at selected shops, cafes, pubs restaurants and attractions.

We say up to 2 hours but we go at the pace of the group so it can be a little less than 2hrs, occasionally a little more.  You can leave the tour at any time.

Yes, the tour is outdoors, the route is flat and we use dropped kerbs to cross roads.

It’s advisable to book in advance as we limit the numbers on each tour.  If the walk is full, anyone turning up would not be able to join the walk.

Yes, we love dogs.  Please ensure the dog is on a lead and if it starts barking, move away from the group for a while until the dog has settled.

Wear comfortable clothing but be conscious of the weather. If it’s cold, wrap up warm. If it is likely to rain, bring an umbrella and/or waterproofs.  If it’s hot, consider a hat, sun cream and a bottle of water.  Walking boots are not necessary but wear comfortable footwear.

Yes, generally the tour goes ahead whatever the weather. However if the weather was extreme or dangerous the walk may have to be cancelled for safety and customers would be refunded.

The route is just over a mile but you are only walking around 45 mins approx.  Most of the time you are standing listening to stories.  The walking is easy, but it is a walking tour so please consider suitability if you walk very slowly as it would hold up the group.  Wheelchairs and mobility scooters can be hired at Shopmobility situated in Bridgeway multi-storey car park.

If you need to cancel we give a full refund with at least 48 hours notice before the tour departure time.  If less than 48 hours notice, give us a call as we may be able to transfer your booking to a new date, subject to availability. Refunds are not given for no-shows.

You will be most welcome to take photographs to capture your tour with us and thereby create lasting memories. However we request that video or audio recordings of the guide and group are only taken with the permission of the guide and the group.
