Multi award-winning guided walking tour around the historic streets of Stratford upon Avon. Explore Stratford, its history, attractions and fascinating relationship with William Shakespeare. Walk in Shakespeare’s footsteps to see his Birthplace, New Place, Hall’s Croft, a range of architectural gems, Shakespeare’s Schoolroom and Guildhall, the Royal Shakespeare Theatres, Guild Chapel, River Avon and Holy Trinity Church. Hear fascinating stories of fire, flooding, plague, medieval medical cures, old fashioned sayings and history, wrapped up in a little Shakespeare and amusing anecdotes. Discover favourite tea houses, shops and restaurants. Don’t forget your camera! Duration up to 2 hours to suit the group.
Stratford Coach Tour
Enjoy a guided panoramic tour from the comfort of your own coach. The tour includes the historic town of Stratford upon Avon, passing the main sights including Shakespeare’s Birthplace, New Place, Hall’s Croft and Holy Trinity Church. The tour continues out of town into the beautiful Warwickshire countryside passing through the villages of Shottery to see Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, and Wilmcote to see Mary Arden’s Farm.
