Whatever the weather!
The Town Walk goes ahead whatever the weather, so please dress accordingly. The walk is classed as ‘easy going’. Walking boots/shoes are not necessary, but comfortable footwear is advisable.
There may be occasions when the footpaths are wet, or slippery with ice or snow and if the weather is extreme, the walk may have to be shortened or cancelled for safety.
The Town Walk is risk-assessed and every effort is taken to ensure the safety and comfort of all customers. However, customers participate at their own risk and must make their own decision about suitability. The Town walk takes about 2hrs, but the duration will be determined by the pace of the group. Customers can leave the walk at any time. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
We very much look forward to seeing you on our Walk. Look out for the guide (wearing something yellow), close to the Swan Fountain, near to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.
